The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the squad for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The tournament is scheduled to take place from February 19 to March 9, 2025, with India's matches being held in Dubai due to political considerations. 

India's Champions Trophy 2025 Squad:

Rohit Sharma (Captain): Leading the team with vast experience and a proven track record in international cricket.

Shubman Gill (Vice-Captain): A dynamic opener known for his consistency and technique.

Virat Kohli: A stalwart of Indian cricket, renowned for his batting prowess across all formats.

Shreyas Iyer: A dependable middle-order batsman with the ability to anchor innings.

KL Rahul (Wicketkeeper): A versatile player who contributes both as a top-order batsman and wicketkeeper.

Notably, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the tournament due to a lower back injury. He has been replaced by Harshit Rana in the squad. 

Additionally, spinner Varun Chakaravarthy has been included in place of batter Yashasvi Jaiswal. 

India is placed in Group A, alongside Pakistan, New Zealand, and Bangladesh. The team will commence its campaign against Bangladesh on February 20 in Dubai.
